As of September, 18,606 passenger vehicles were sold in Serbia.

The car market in our country is slowly recovering after last year’s large decline in sales of new vehicles.

In the first nine months of 2021, therefore, a total of 23,193 passenger and light commercial vehicles were sold, the CUBE team announced.

Of that number, there are 18,606 passenger cars, and the rest are light commercial vehicles.

Škoda is still the top-selling car brand in Serbia, with 3,477 units delivered since September. In second place is FIAT with 2,169 cars, and third is Toyota with 1,286 units.

The fourth in sales is the Kia. The Korean manufacturer delivered 1,199 vehicles to customers in Serbia in the first nine months, while in the fifth place another brand from that Asian country, Hyundai, was sold with 1,044 cars.

Volkswagen was only in 6th place with 1,024 vehicles, and Renault was in seventh place with 1,023 cars.

Eighth is Dacia. The Romanian manufacturer has sold 827 vehicles since September.

Opel is in ninth place with 760 cars sold, and the top-10 is closed by Mercedes, which delivered 690 vehicles to customers in Serbia in the first nine months of 2021.

Audi (510), BMW (667), Citroen (625), Jeep (513) and Mazda (569) also sold more than 500 cars in Serbia.

Interestingly, 4 Lamborghini cars have been sold in Serbia so far this year, and wealthy buyers have also bought Bentley (3) and Rolls-Royce (1).

Finally, with 74 cars sold in the first nine months of this year, Porsche achieved an excellent result in our market.
