Four astronauts have successfully landed on the coast of the US state of Florida after a several-month stay at the International Space Station.
Space X’s Dragon capsule landed safely on Earth at 3.33 CET after a dizzying speed to enter the atmosphere, which was reduced with the help of four large parachutes.
Astronauts, Frenchman Thomas Pesquet, American Megan McArthur, American Shane Kimbrough and Japanese Akihiko Hoshide have been on the International Space Station since April 24.
They were greeted by a special team who pulled them out of the capsule as they could not walk after being weightless.
They will be sent to physical rehabilitation for at least three weeks during which they will learn to walk again and get used to the Earth’s weight.
A team of two Russian and one American astronauts stayed behind in the International Space Station, which is located about 400 kilometers above the Earth.
